Yes what you see is true, i recycle my fashion items for multiple outfits. A strapless dress with a sweet as sweet heart neckline will take you from summer to winter, its all about the layers. Pick one in a neutral hue and you can update it with texture and print underneath. Throw in leopard print and big 80s inspired shoulders and you got a gal ready to work and party.

SUMMER IS A COMING!

Hurrah hurrah temperatures are on the rise, as are the hemlines. Tis the season for golden hued skin, shoulder baring dresses, affirmation laced jewellery and a sling bag to sway as we walk. It is also a very dangerous time as I start to realise I’m not feeling my Tran seasonal fashion pieces, I want shiny brand new things that reek of the summer heat, I want acid wash denim, brightly coloured trophy jackets and tight as a tiger skin baring dresses, I want it all, I want it now and I want the sun in bite sized chunks!

So I've been a bit slack on the blog front but i have been a busy gal, dressing up, dancing and cocktails have been hitting the spot. On our night out us ladies had the hemlines up, tassels shimmying and the bubbles down. Unfortunately i was unable to accessorise heels with my bustier dress (due to the foot op) but time and patience will hopefully pay off. And yes i know what you are thinking, this girl is a serial hand on the hip poser, note to self, vary it up a little.

THE NEW TUX

Its a rainy day but its time for shoulder pads to come and play! There's nothing sexier than a strong shoulder on a woman, excuse the loo in the background, once again not quite the photographer. Would love to add a jewel encrusted shoulder padded jacket a la' Balmain to the wardrobe.... but one can only dream.

Ok, note to self must learn how to be steady with a camera.... off to coffee with my bestie on a sunday afternoon. Love a bit of texture and pattern clash. Double shot skinny latte here i come!

Ohhh dddear day after grand final and not feeling the best. Today comfort is essential as is; water, concealer and black sunglasses. Oh why do we do it to ourselves? simply because it's too much fun. But we reap the consequences, i was definitely not ready for my close up today......

Saturday night drinks and nibbles with some jazz music. Channelling my inner child here, or perhaps slightly gossip girl with the head piece. Sometimes its fun to play up being a girl with hues of pink, floaty lace but still giving it an edge with hardware and black leather. Everyday is dress ups.....

STYLING COMPETITION ENTRIES

This Styling collection is named "Excess'' because sometimes a little bit more, is just a little more Fabulous! To me styling is a complete outfit, attention to detail is essential, head to toe. (however you will notice in every image there's no feet, because i currently have my foot in plaster) Fashion can transport me to anywhere i wish to be, its a chance to express how I'm feeling in a particular moment. Fashion is fun and frivolous. I think to truly enjoy fashion you have to take a risk. To me fashion has no boundaries. All of the items in these images are from my wardrobe and i have worn all at some point in time. My wardrobe mostly consists of Sportsgirl and vintage clothing and accessories. I was tempted to edit my photos, as photo shop can do amazing things but i chose not to. I chose a blank canvas as a background. All styling, hair and makeup is completed by me. I chose to do all this because in the end all it comes down to, is me and my styling and that's what i have delivered. Enjoy.

Out for dinner for my sisters' birthday... Thai and wine, my favourite. Now I've decide casual glamour will be the dress code of choice as the rule always stays "never upstage the birthday girl". Its only fair as i love being centre stage on my big day...... don't we all ?

Arghhh blinded by the razzle dazzle of glitter and bling in the light! Two hour trip on the road, luckily i had the company to make it worthwhile. Now it seems the sky is as dark as the bags beneath my eyes ( which i refuse to unveil) so the only thing that will keep me happy and sane is the sparkly light surrounding me! What can i say... fashion is my drug of choice xo

I'm on a treasure hunt.........

So I've got a few things on my shopping list at the moment

1. FAUX FUR JACKET- glamourous, always on trend, no. 1 priority
2. SUMMER DRESS- to wear to my mothers' wedding in Feb, has to be Fabulous
3. SHOES- that are comfy and that can accommodate to my newly broken and replaced foot, whilst still looking fashionable... will be tricky
4. VINTAGE BOTTLES & VASES- i am currently re- decorating a new place, looking for quirky, affordable finds.
5. SOFT PASTEL CORSAGES- especially as summer is nearer, look so pretty against a golden tan, either in your hair or on a frock.

Out for coffee with a gal pal and a wee bit of shopping. The sun is out today... hence the leg exposure, which is bordering on indecent with that lack of tan!! But the sun is out and i shall spend the afternoon soaking it in and buying fake tan..... and of course stylish flip flop and cast still in tow ;)

Layered up for a day of shopping, but brrr it is cold and unfortunately not much luck with the shopping do have my eyes on a DKNY ring though hmmmm layby or hint hint early Christmas/ been a good girl present. ;)

Off to a Fathers' Day lunch. Nothing like a pop of electric orange to make the gloomy day all that better. In case you hadn't noticed, i love an animal print; its loud, fun, look at me, Donatella Versace FABULOUS!! Add an 80s inspired light wash denim sling and I'm ready for a glass of Ninth Island Chardonnay...........

There's nothing quite as fun as a zebra all in one. Not only did it bring out my fiery side but it brought alot of interest from the fashion crowd. I love finding a great one off vintage piece and i'm very happy to say that noone was wearing the same outfit as moi this evening.

I’m loving the versatility of my new stripe tee. Who said a classic wardrobe item has to be drab and casual. You’ll see it works very well accessorised with and Addidas flip flop and cast, very stylish :P

I'm a big believer in using a bit of sparkle to uplift your mood. It adds an extra shimmy to your shake and all that light bouncing off the sparkles and onto the skin can only make you look more luminous than ever! Add sparkle to your after work drinks on Friday or just for a bit of daytime glam.

I'VE BEEN SHOPPING...PURCHASES FOR THE WEEK

This one is a favourite. Gorgeous green, with boho embroidery and a feminine flutter sleeve. This one will be fantastic teamed with a tan gladiator, some chandelier rustic earrings and an arm full of chunky bangles. Love, love, love.

There's nothing like a nautical staple piece that will remain effortlessly chic and cool, year after year. Dress it down with the Bf short, a red paisley scarf, white canvas sneakers and some rockin Ray Bans. Dress it up with a sexy red high waisted satin skirt chunky silver chains, turquoise gem wrists and a black glomesh bag. Very sexy and sooo not just a striped t-shirt.

Give me a one shoulder bat wing dress in hot to trot colour and a mini hem and you got yourself a party girl!! I'm already envisioning this with a statement neck, turquoise gems on rustic silver, ethnic wrist touches, Tye dye tights and a thigh high black boot (flat of course) and I'd be ready to shimmy the night away!!

Its all about the bf at the moment and i like mine in the short format. Love the light wash, and ripped detailing, not too over done and not too short a la Brittney. When heels will eventually be on the menu i'd love to wear an electric coloured cage heel, a bralet top with and oversized racerbank and a fedora to top it off. ohh summer awaits.

My current dilemma will hit home with alot of you heel lovers. unfortunately a hereditary failure to have ''fabulous'' feet, left me with a golf sized bunion on my foot (wearing heels everyday to college also didn't help) so my current state: i've had the op, i've got a hunka cast on my foot and i'm not feelin the Adidas flip flop and explorer sock look. definitely would not fly with the elite fashion pack. so the test is this; can i cope with going from sky high stilettos and nothing in between, to flat as a tat and being able to incorporate this into my outfit choices and for every occasion thrown at me? i guess i'm going to have to find out......
